REVIEW YOUR PRIORITIES
List your priorities for life and see where health and fitness lies. If it is near the top, then you’ll find time for it. I’m sure you manage to find time for your other top priorities like family and friends so you should be able to find time for your other top priorities.
If exercise is lower down in your priorities, then bump it up and make a conscious effort to remind yourself it is a priority.
WRITE IT IN YOUR DIARY
If it’s scheduled, you won’t forget about it and will put other things around that dedicated time for exercise.
It’s simple, but when we go to of our way to write something in to our personal schedule, we dedicate that time to it. We are more likely to do it due to actually scheduling it.
KEEP IT SHORT
A gym session doesn’t have to be hours long. Experiment with some shorter sessions that involve supersets, circuits, or HIIT.
DO IT IN THE MORNING
It doesn’t sound fun, but if you wake up just that little bit earlier you’ll be able to fit in your workout. Sure, you may want to go to sleep earlier and that might not sound fun to you, but I bet in the evening you spend the majority of the time just scrolling through your phone.
MAKE IT FUN
If exercising becomes more of something you look forward to then you’ll always find time for it.
Try some classes at your gym, or find a gym buddy to workout with.
We all love to do things when they’re fun and exercising can be that too.
